You could also spray that area with brake clean and remove all of that and see if it returns.

Have you checked the oil level in youre diff? From the pictures it doesn't look like an active leak. If youre oil level is good I wouldn't worry about it other than checking youre diff at every oil change, something that should be done anyways.

I wouldn't change the coil packs until they need to be changed. When you do have to change them you can get cheap ones, don't do that, they may work for awhile, for the long haul you're better off replacing as needed with OEM coil packs.

Dropping youre tailgate or removing tailgate and getting one if those nets to replace it will basically have the same effect. The covers, hard or soft, look much better and add a measure of security for stuff in tbe bed.

Yeah, mine is the same way. Even though dash says S6 it won't go into 6th until you get up to speed and then breath it a little, then it will drop into 6th gear.
