You could try this...There are various overlays available on ebay or amazon (seems to be more on ebay). I have these on my truck, but I scuffed them up (chrome plastic) and painted them with a satin finish black paint. It was easy and came out nice....perfect fit...

I don't think those 17mm will fit. You'll need 21mm.
