The only time they don't bounce is intermittent swiping. It's raining like crazy today and these Icons bounced the entire time. They're maybe a month old. I've had good luck with Bosch wipers but that bouncing is annoying

Called Avid today and the guy said theoretically it would mount but he was unsure if it would fit because of the different bumper designs. Took measurements and sure enough, it wont fit [emoji19] [emoji19] [emoji21]

How interchangeable are parts and add ons between 2nd Gen and 3rd Gen? Found an Avid Bumper Guard for 2nd gen Tacos but dont know if it will fit a 3rd gen

Not at all. The covers didn't wrap around the back so it unlocks just fine and theres a cutout for your finger to lock it. Both work as advertised

I ended up not using Plati Dip and just went straight for the matte black enamel paint. I eventually will be replacing the grill with the Pro though. It has a better look to it

Got the grill painted today. Looks much better. I enjoy a little chrome but this truck looks better without it. I also painted some cheap chrome handle covers I ordered that happened to come in today.
