No not really. It is possible. It could have fallen off while he was holding the bolt. He took the bolt out, we stood there and watched the fluid drip out, he put the bolt back in.

All of the instructions I’ve seen for checking ATF levels say to replace crush washer. Not sure how else fluid would come out of the check.

At the dealer now waiting for transmission to cool down to correct temp to check atf level. In the meantime, I test drove one, with the mechanic, and it drove 1000 times better than mine. It has none of the same issues. Hopefully the next post will be “truck is driving amazing now!”
