I understand some of the auto parts stores have readers that can pull up some of the codes. There’s normally no charge for that. I know if you take it to Toyota dealer they’re going to charge you a half hour to an hour to do a diagnosis.

When my ‘17 rolled over 100k, I had the dealership replace the serpentine belt. Also serviced trans, both diffs and transfer case.

In the TRD only? If I swapped I’d want another SR5 or Limited. Maybe I didn’t look deep enough.

Not to change the subject but do we have any members that bought one of these? I was at the local dealership for my company car and walked the lot. Then checked Toyota website. All 4 cyl turbos. No V6 available. A hybrid. No 4 door with 6 foot beds.

Interesting… I sell Freightliner and Western Star trucks. A few weeks back there was a fire at the Mexican plant that makes the mirrors for our over the road trucks. I’ve learned other manufacturers are having supply issues down there.

I’m sorry for your family’s loss. I had to make a trip like that for my mom. Hours of driving remembering good times and others.

Stay tuned. Trip down will be a repeat. Return will some backroads to Monument Valley staying in a motel on the Res. Photograph sunset and sunrise then secondary to Grand Canyon. Bypass Interstate 40 for a stretch of Route 66. Seligman, Peach Springs etc. from there…? No route picked yet...
