Being dark means that cylinder is run cold I always replace wires then I know for sure that that link in the chain is good. If you check all the cylinders and they are all with in the same psi + or - 5 the cylinders are good but you should do a wet test also a little oil in the cylinder it...

Also you would be losing water

Head gasket is easy test go on line buy a tester . You put liquid in a tube open radiator put it where the cap came off run the car if it changes color it is bad .

Thanks the one thing I was thinking of doing is putting bigger wheels and tires in the short term. I think that that is good advice though. I just have to say it the price, can not be more stocked under $14000.00. and I have been looking for over a year! thank you for the advise.

I just joined! Just bought a 2009 toco with 37000 miles on it garaged it’s whole life. What a find if I do say so myself. I hope I can get some good upgrading ideas here.
