    No State Left Behind...

It was an 'in-your-face' to the DA, and the Harlem crowd loved it.

    The Future is Now

So right Tacojoel, and just in the last couple of months I received threats from "dark-web" criminals that hacked my doctor's database and got my ss#, DOB, & who knows what else. They wanted to be paid off to remove my data from their sales offerings. None of the online database systems are...

    The New Direction of Toyota?

Since '91 I've chosen 5 Toyotas for their logical design, quality construction, and overall reliability. But now it appears that they are trending in a different direction. I think the video does a good job of pointing this out. And there's little doubt that government interference has forced us...

Priming your oil filter when doing an oil change.

It's a bit hard for me to imagine, but quite a few people out there shouldn't be changing their vehicle's oil and filter. When my brother first tried to service his '60 Biscayne, he drained the manual transmission 'grease' by mistake (ignorance). Some folks simply have zero mechanical ability.

    universal joint inspection...

When I recently replaced the center support "carrier" bearing on my 170K mile 2 gen '12, I didn't think twice about also replacing all 3 u-joints. I used the best quality Spicer u-joints I could find ($58/3). 12 years of wear & tear on u-joints calls for a full replacement when the drive shaft...

Priming your oil filter when doing an oil change.

It was a 6 cyl, but it's quite possible my oil filter memory back to the early 2000's is a bit upside down.

Priming your oil filter when doing an oil change.

I always pre-fill the new fuel filter on my diesel tractor, to prevent an injector airlock. But never tried to do that to a new oil filter on my 2nd gen 4.0 V6. As Jay said, the oil filter is upside down so it is rather impossible to attach it full of oil to the engine. I do remember my old '01...

    Let the Downgrades Begin

I never said I didn't like the Tacoma that I bought, only that I am disappointed that a quality car maker like Toyota has instituted a plethora of downgrades following record sales in 2023.

    Let the Downgrades Begin

I remember when Datsun was the first in the US to offer a mid/small-sized extended cab pick-up. Their King-Cab was a huge success. And Suburu came out with the Brat with the plastic jump seats in the bed. But the manufacturer's reasoning isn't always that clear; "North American and Canadian BRAT...

    Let the Downgrades Begin

Yep, I heard that too. So if the Access Cab was so unpopular, why even offer the "new and improved" Xtra Cab w/ the fold-down passenger seat? I just can't stop thinking the switch (backward) is really just about the profit margin.

    Ready for a Flying Car?

When flying cars become common, just imagine how 'the sky is falling' will become a reality. Chicken Little might be right after all! And I suppose that 'mid-air car collisions' will be a category in itself.

    Ready for a Flying Car?

They went right for the Model A, and skipped the venerable Model T. Would Henry approve? My great grandfather, a family doctor in Farmington, MO had a decked-out fancy Model A of which he was said to be very proud. But it didn't fly way back in the 1930's.
