Got it. If you can wait until later this year, maybe spring sometime, I'm planning a short roadtrip to the SW. If you're comfortable doing the swap with my helping, that works for me. Assuming it's mainly just aligning the hood and doing the bolts.

I ordered a stage 2 clutch and heavier flywheel for my 3rd gen like 3 weeks ago. They still say it'll be in any day now. Anyone else go through this?

Well the muffler already came in the full set with pipe and everything. Originally just bolted on, but since I wanted a resonator to cut the awful drone (it's great now), cutting was required. I'm happy, it had better response after the bigger pipe was installed. Maybe it's in my head but hey...

The engine is designed for premium. They just reprogrammed it a little to back off on the engine timing when knocking is detected. Doesn't always work, and produces that hated hesitation we manual drivers notice.
