Thats too bad, sounds like you've a bad experience. Just the opposite here. This gen3 I've had since 2020 has been about a perfect truck as you can have....it puts a smile on your face, every time you stab the go pedal. Just curious where yours was built?

All I remember one glass repair shop telling me there are some very crazy laws on windshields that the chip can't be any larger than a quarter, and must not be on the driver side of the windshield if trying to do a repair. Most independent glass shops here won't touch a chipped windshield no...

Not here. Any chip, crack, or defect in the driver side of the windshield has to be replace due to safety concerns. There's no repairing it.

Here in connecticut when I had my tundra, if you have a chip in your windshield it's illegal for them to just repair it. Windshield must be replaced. I would guess it's pretty similar elsewhere.
