I have a 2009 Tacoma and my Keyless entry stopped working a year or so ago. I did the obvious and replaced the batteries on both fobs but it still doesn't work. Any suggestions or am I stuck using my key

It seems one is missing. I called the dealership, they quoted $400 for to "flash," so that the missing fob can no longer unlock or operate the vehicle. Isn't there a DIY way to do this? Maybe through the dashboard system, connect and disable one of fobs? For $400, I'd expect new fobs and...
