05 Taco looses power and won't find gear

I recently purchased a trailer and have been using it to tow my furniture to a new home. Recently my Toyota started losing power and the transmission will not shift to a proper gear as well. I'm not sure if this catalytic converter, a transmission problem or what? Please help.

Do u have a way to see the trans temp and cat temps (ultragauge, or scangauge)?

any recent work done?

Cat should throw a P0420 and or P0430 if its dying, the downstream should catch the fluctuation I would think?

I hate to even suggest these, but..........

battery terminals are tight?
MAF sensor clean? (is RPM fluctuating alot at idle?)
Trans ever been serviced?
