i accidentally discovered a way to restore the roof rubber strips. I picked up some primer and Plastic / bumper paint. Before priming , i was going to clean and prep the strip with 0000 Steel wool. As I was gently rubbing the strip, it was turning black! I rubbed them both down and then used water and a magic sponge on them, and followed up with some 1500 grit wet sand paper. Then i put on Chemical Guys V.R.T. After two weeks, they still look great. I took the after photo before I treated them with the VRT again yesterday.
