I'm new to the bigger tires and offset wheels etc... Does someone know if a -12 offset 17"wheel is enough to run 33x12.5x17 on my my 2010 Taco that has a 3" lift

A point many miss.......
The 3" lift only gives vertical height. The horizontal is still fixed. Meaning clearance for turning the wheels full lock is frequently an interference point. Same issue with the rear of the fender wheel, common area for rub.
Any way you could do a trial fit with a rim of same dimensions and tire you want. May cost a bit, but if it doesn't work..........
