I've been seeing several threads about people having AC problems on their newer late-model trucks, I have 39,000 miles now and haven't had any problems, I hope it's not a pattern.
Maybe you should rename the topic “NO A/C PROBLEMS. The only complaint that I have (2017 TRD), is the difference in the fan speed between HIGH and the first step down. Seems like there should be a step in between.
For the past few years all auto makers just charge the ac enough to make it work and cool.Some are in the low acceptable level of pressure . I've found even in new vehicle systems can and need more charge. They work on a hot day but they struggle. Bringing the ac charge to a medium works wonders. Auto companies save money on an expensive component.
