Bed cover question

Long-time Tundra owner, first time Tacoma owner here.

I just bought a 2019 SR5 that originally was spec'd out with Toyota's tri-fold bed cover. The dealer I bought the truck from said the truck did not have the cover when they received it.

I'd like to put another tri-fold or similar style bed cover on the truck. The truck still has the Toyota mounting hardware for the original cover on it.

So here's my question: Will I need to remove that hardware or will some after-market bed covers still work with that hardware in-place?

If you are looking for the factory cover I just bought a Tacoma with 3k miles and it came with the factory Tacoma bed cover. Looks brand new. I actually would like to sell it so let me know if you are interested in it.
