Bed winch, have any of you installed one?

Have any installed a winch on the truck bed? Was curious as to how you did it.

My motorcycle is out of commission and I can’t push it up the ramp on leg power. I have an idea of what I want to do but just wondering if there are any better ideas out there.

I don’t know about how much the composite bed can take. That would be my main concern with mounting in the bed. If the stress was distributed correctly or the mounting points where in the frame you’d be ok.
I’m curious what your plan is.

I was thinking something along these lines but not as bulky with the cross bar. I was thinking of doing a similar bolting mount like the middle portion and calling it a day but I was hoping to get some insight on experiences. My other idea was to bolt on a flat piece of metal at the base of the bed and installing it as close as possible to the front of the bed.

Is moving the bike going to be a common occurrence? I'd just trailer it if not.

It wouldn’t be a common thing, I just don’t want to have to depend on tow trucks. I would love to do a little mod and tow it myself

I meant like rent a motorcycle trailer and tow the bike instead of installing a which you may use only a handful of times.
