Hey everyone,
I’m working on a few custom mods for my Tacoma, including a custom transmission cooler and some hydraulic lines for off road accessories. I’m looking at weld on hose fittings and wondering what you guys recommend in terms of material, stainless vs. mild steel, for durability and corrosion resistance.
I’ve also come across aluminium weld on fittings but I’m unsure how well they hold up in rugged conditions or when paired with steel components. Has anyone here welded fittings directly to frame mounted brackets or custom tanks?
Curious about real world tips from anyone who’s tackled similar projects.
