I highly suggest not using a body lift. You can run into issues like the need for a longer steering shaft, need for a longer shift cable, longer parking brake cable and maybe even wiring issues. Also you put leverage on the body mount by raising the body up and they look like crap because more of the frame is exposed.

Body lifts are a great way to remove the cab from the frame in an accident.

My 1st gen had a body lift when I bought it. First mod was to remove that crap and throw it in the lake.

I don't have one, but know a couple of guys who ended up getting 1" body lift to help clear the clocked crawler/transfer cases. As a side effect, it also helped them a little to clear 35" tires.
