Hey guys! Got my BP Fab recovery bracket in today. Thought I'd post up pics of the install!

First off, this is my 2017 TRDOR in Blazing Blue. Liking the truck a whole lot. This will be the specimen we're working on today! LOL

Here's a pic of the BP Fab recovery bracket. Very nicely made and powder-coated black.

Removed the 2 bolts that hold the OEM part on including the lone bolt holding the end-cap on since the BP Fab is a 3-bolt attatchment. I used 3-M12X1.25"X40mm Grade 8.8 bolts for the install of the new BP Fab recovery hook. I torqued the 3 bolts with flat and lock washers down to 48 ft/lbs with some blue loctite on the threads. 48ft/lbs tightened them up pretty tight! Here it is installed........

Then, I purchased a 4.5ton D-Ring to attatch that's 3/4" with 7/8" pin.......I had some old truck innertube laying in the garage so I cut off a couple pieces and placed them on the inside of the D-ring on each side so any noise from the D-ring moving would hopefully be minimal.

Here's the final results..............A much stronger tow/recovery hook than OEM.
