Does anybody know how to remove and replace the driver side door jamb switch? Mine is having problems and I would like to remove and clean the contacts. When I attempted it, I realized that if I unscrewed it completely, I would never be able to recover whatever it's attached to inside the frame. Thanks for any advice!
I took the passenger side switch out and saw that it screws security into the frame. On the drivers side the threads in the frame of the truck are not attached at all, just loose. Looks like it never was put together properly from the start.
