Drop in gas mileage

My 04 tacoma's gas mileage Has dropped of a cliff. I have replaced all the spark plugs and wires, o2 sensor, mass airflow sensor, replaced the fuel injectors, new exhaust system, cool air intake. All the things that should help gas mileage. And it gets better for a tank and than drops off again. Has anyone dealt with this? Any help appreciated.

Have you cleaned the throttle body. change air filter.......

Its probably something very basic related to the recent service work.

Funny how its better with the first tank of fuel through it, then it reverts back to being a pig again.

Was just thinking if the coolant thermostat was stuck wide open the engine wouldn't run at its optimum temp. That would cause poor fuel economy.

As a suggestion. Pull the CAI and go back to the OEM intake for a tank or two while tracking your mpg.

OP, which engine do you have? 4 or 6 cyl?
Before change mpg? After change mpg?

Define "gas mileage Has dropped of off a cliff"?

is the truck lifted?
Tires?
Tire inflation pressure?
Cargo load?

Many, many things can impact mpg.
