Not a bad idea. Ill check it.Gas cap?
Did you stop pumping fuel once the pump shut off the first time or did you keep going trying to top it off?How long does it take with the cap loose before it throws a compression code? I drove it 3 hours after fueling before it came on.

That will it? How does it reset?Bingo
Really shouldn’t “top it off” if your OCD about cents take it to the closes 10 and stop.Top it off

Definitely never top off.

Tis a short driveYeah. Topping it off will do that a lot of the times. Not always. Just fill it til it clicks off.
I’d take a code reader and clear it. That’d drive me crazy. I keep one in the truck for reasons like that.
So plugging it up to a code reader could clear it?Yeah. Topping it off will do that a lot of the times. Not always. Just fill it til it clicks off.

You can always disconnect the battery for a few minutes and reset everything.
Than you lose the ECU learning for the tranny. That sucks. I’ve done it once. Don’t care to do it again.
