Has anyone had success with using the remote start app to start your truck? Seems like it should work with mine being a 2018 but when I put my vin in it says vin not found? Ty

I’m interested on what vehicles this works with.
That app is designed to only work with Entune 3.0 which is only available on the 2018 Sienna and Camry.
The only Entune app that should work with the gen 3 Tacoma is this one:

Also, there has to be a remote starter already installed on the vehicle for it to work. As far as I am aware there isn’t a factory option available for any Tacoma.
If you want a remote starter and an app to control it there are options available.
Still only available on the two current models.
Are they coming standard with remote start for Entune 3.0?
If that’s the case than by 2019-2020 all models should be.

I think the OP was assuming the new 3.0 app would work with the Tacoma.
The features of the 3.0 Remote Connect should work for all features available on the truck. IE Windows and door locks. But there may be never be a stock remote start option for Tacoma. They haven’t cared to add one up to now so I doubt it will change.

Have you ever looked into aftermarket power seats or a seat swap with another vehicle? Where there’s a will there’s a way. And as much as you want power seats I’d look into it.
