First oil change

So I did my first oil change at about 2800 miles... waited a little longer than I would have liked but had to get that special housing removal cup toll. Found genuine Toyota oil filter elements online for pretty cheap so I ordered/ used one of them. After i did the change, ran it checked it... no leaks. Drove it home checked it, no leaks no change on the the dipstick level. After i had everything squared away i decided to open up the old filter for inspection. I found to me what looks like a considerable amount of metal shavings in the element. from what i saw i would recommend to others an oil change after break in. Unfortunately Toyota only offers 1st service at 10000 miles. 20180630_161830.jpeg20180630_165624.jpeg20180630_165924.jpeg20180630_165834.jpeg

It’s a new engine buddy. It’s going to have a few shavings in there. The filter got it.
