After a lot of research and driving other midsized trucks, I decided on a 2016 tocoma sport. At first, I was staying away from the tocoma because of all the nagging about transmission issues. I was leaning heavily toward a Honda ridgeline but it was very expensive and seemed like it had no identity. Ridgeline drove well but that's it. The tacoma just feels like a truck and exterior/interior looks in my opinion are great. I don't really notice the transmission issues others are talking about, I love this truck. I hope to get a lot of knowledge and advice from this forum from those of you who are experienced tocoma owners.
