Hey fella's, my first post other than the "introduction".
I'm at day 2 being a (used) Toyota Tacoma owner, I have some kind of a brake problem. During the test drive and an hour into the drive home from picking it up, everything felt/operated fine, and then the brakes on the off ramp of the hwy felt as if a line blew. The pedal got soft and was headed to the firewall. Pumping did bring it back with each stroke.
Well of course it was raining hard, so I made it back to the shop and let it dry over night. Today, no "wet" spots and the res. was fine, 1/2 between the full and add marks. In reading the owners literature, it looks as if the ABS sys. might be used for traction & handeling functions as well. There are no lights or warning's on the dash, but the pedal feel remind's me of how the pedal feels when the ABS is activated on one of my other vehicles (non Toyota) like on ice or snow. Any suggestions?
