If there isn't an external one in the line currently, you'd need to cut the fuel line in some place, and install a filter thats designed with fittings to be under pressure. Whether, or not its possible, its likely not very practical.

I just assumed it was for a 2.7 not the v6 that already has a decent external fuel filter.
