Clazzio ballistic covers are pretty damn durable.

Freebie.... remove the door panels, then take an exacto and cut the farbic off the tweeters.
Maybe it was placebo, but i thought they sounded clearer and i seen no purpose for the thick fabric. Its surprisingly thick and rigid.
That said, i fairly soon after installed some 5way 6x9s and disabled/removed the factory tweets.
