Thanks again everyone. The 3.4L V6 is my favorite....lol. Change the oil like normal and add half quart of Lucas and they seem to run forever.

I got 300k out of my 1st 3.4L engine. And I run it like a mother in laws mouth! I'm 99% done having her rebuilt with new torque converter, flex plate and some other lil fun stuff. I soon will have it back up and alive and I can finally park my 4runner for a while. 3.4 was and is the best engine Toyota ever made!

I think it was as well, thats why I try to stay with those models. Plus, I'm cheap and not will to pay a $500+ a month payment to drive to the dumpster once a week. Then hunting season. I drive my work truck to and from work. Green 96 has 176,000 and white 2002 has 101,000 on it
