High speed wind noise

I have a 2015 Tacoma crew cab. At interstate speeds and slower when it is windy, there is a high pitched wind noise that is very annoying. It seems to be coming from somewhere on the drivers door or window. My son as a 2010 crew cab and it does the same thing. Any ideas?

Take some blue painters tape. Tape around the window and then drive and see if it occurs. If that doens't change things tape around the door and do the same. Window first because you either have to have someone in the car while taping or crawl across the center console. If you find it's the door or window you can tape smaller areas until you locate the source.

Check the door weatherstripping.

After 8 years, it could be damaged or taken a set (not compliable). Easy replacement if needed.

This is a task I had to do on my 2006. Makes a big difference in wind noise. Not horribly expensive or time consuming.

Is the window loose? Even after rolling up all the way?
Still stock window or has it been replaced with different glass
