What off set are the wheels?
A solid 3” lift with wheel well shaping/cutting/trimming would work. Those tires/wheels are just wide. Going any higher than 3” is a lot of work. @whippersnapper02 has suggested spindles to multiple people who have wanted 4-6” lifts. That would be the way to go. After more research and thought I don’t know of many that have done it on here. If they have they haven’t posted pictures or talked about it much.I have a 2017 dcsb and just bought a set of 20x12 moto metal 962s and 33x12.50r20 toyos and don't know if I should go with a 4in lift or 6in I put them on just to see what it looks like and I think it looks awesome just can't run them down the road yet View attachment 13820View attachment 13821
Looks ok, get a fair amount of rubbing with a small amount of turn ??
These trucks wheel wells aren’t made for that wide of a wheel and your offset is to much. You’ll be cutting and heating and molding the wheels wells. How much only you’ll know when you start doing it. 3” will clear the 33”. I don’t know what you’ll have to do to clear the 12.5” with -44 offset. Also 12” rims with 12.5” tires your bead is super weak. Don’t air the tires down off road. Let us know what you end up doing and post more pictures of the progress. I’m interested. There -44 offset I know a lot of people just do a 3in lift with a 33 or 285 but since theses wheels are so wide I wasn't sure if a 3in would work
The height wouldn’t be the issue it’s the width of those things. You could fit a 265/75r16 which is 31.6x10.4” if you could find a 32x10.5 on a 16” wheel they would fit on stock. Start going wider and taller and that’s where the issues with offset and lifting come into play.Pretty sure he could lift it 8" & hitting the frame rails would still be an issue...
I hadn't really heard of or had to deal with **** like back spacing/wheel offsets/etc: until I got a Tacoma, even my '83 would fit a 32" on stock suspension (solid axle) without a lot of complaints...

I know that, that's why I said you can lift it 8" & not going to matter, still gonna rub ... So...there...
I just can’t get over how wide they are on a stock 3rd gen.
Toyota builds there trucks with specific specs that limit mods. At least making it harder to do them. 2018 is even worse with the TSS-P. With enough money and time you can do just about anything to them though.Short of notching the frame rails , not a lot of options for fitment of those wide ass tires, I bet if the LCA's & UCA's were kicked out another inch or so wouldn't be near the issue it is now, may not even be an issue...
Pretty sure you’d have to take that whole dang body/ frame mount OUT to run those suckers!

Mall crawler.Yup, pretty much, I mean you can get them to the point of drivability on road, off road not so much...
