Hyundai Motor America has reiterated plans to introduce its first pickup model in the United States. A compact pickup powered by a 2.0-liter diesel engine with 190 hp and 300 lb-ft of torque that featured unibody construction.

It's because it had a truck bed and really the frame has nothing to do with anything. Probably won't rust as easily as a Tacoma.

What's this diesel need? It won't do anything for the Tacoma except for mileage which is offset by initial purchase cost, fuel cost and maintenance cost. Don't forget repairs.

I don't care about the Tacoma I want it in the Tundra. Although the torque would be nice off-road.

Me and lots of others will buy a diesel Toyota truck when they bring one to the US. Regardless of what haters think.
