Hey!

I'm looking to buy a Tacoma since I always wanted a pickup truck. Also, my bf and I like to go camping so I think the Tacoma is the perfect fit for us. I heard the 2008 or 2009 are the best years for the Tacoma to purchase... What are people's thoughts?

Welcome to the forum. I would get the 2004 first gen, 2014 for a 2nd gen or 2018 if you can afford to buy new.
Look up the vin numbers on toyota to check maintenance records, recalls and TSB’s that have been done. Food luck in you’re search. Post pictures and let us know when you find one.

Welcome to the forum. Like @OR17TRD said, look at the records and carfax before you buy. And if you’re not mechanical I’d get a decent mechanic to check it out.
