Issues with Fuel Injector Performance – Need Advice

Hi everyone,

I’m experiencing some problems with my vehicle’s fuel injector and I’m hoping to get some guidance. Lately, I’ve noticed rough idling, decreased fuel efficiency, and occasional engine misfires.

I suspect one or more fuel injectors may be clogged or failing, but I’m unsure how to confirm this. I’ve checked for obvious leaks and cleaned the throttle body, but the issue persists.

Can someone explain the best ways to diagnose a faulty fuel injector? Are there reliable testing methods or recommended cleaning solutions?

Any advice from those who’ve dealt with this would be greatly appreciated!

Can someone explain the best ways to diagnose a faulty fuel injector, specifically a Peugeot injektor? Are there reliable testing methods or recommended cleaning solutions?

Any advice from those who’ve dealt with this would be greatly appreciated!
thanks in advance for any help

Other than what you already posted above, you can scan for any codes that have the same symptoms.
On another note there are companies that can professionally clean fuel injectors if they become weak, or clogged.
I've sent fuel injectors out on snowmobiles that show a lean cylinder.

Chevron Techron ,use 2 bottles and drive for 30 to 45 minutes on highway , this is what most techs do at most dealerships and auto service centers have done for decades. Best $20 to $30 dollars spent!
