Who has JBA UCA’s on a first gen? I’m having the hardest time of my life pressing in the adapter they come with. I really don’t want to take the whole knuckle off. Any ideas?

Freeze it. It will shrink making it little easier to press in. And also are you using a ball joint press kit?

I tried freezing it and using what I had ( a c clamp) but tomorrow I will be getting a ball joint press kit and hopefully that works. Thank you.

Let us know how it goes good luck.

So far not too good. The ball joint press hits the top of the fender well so it’s hard to turn and I don’t want to take the whole knuckle off. But I might have to. I think the after market piece that goes in there is a hair too big. This sucks.

Is all this work for just old parts or a lift?

I had strut spacers on it to level it out. I replaced my leaf springs because they were old, got bilstein 5100 all the way around to get rid of the spacers, ome 2880 coils and JBA upper control arms.
