You may be surprised. I saw a show on Motor Trend TV where they hooked up a set of exhaust speakers on a Tesla.

I got to drive a Freightliner eCascadia a while back. A little spooky that it can roll up behind you and all you hear are the tires on the pavement. But mash down on the pedal and it’s Katy bar the door. I heard some manufacturers are planning to put some sort of noise simulator on electric vehicles
