Will do[emoji106]. Mines seemed dry when I put it on I guess I got lucky. Thanks for the warning and I appreciate all the info. Thank god I found this forum.Just don't soak the filter with oil after cleaning. Usually they are over oil from the factory.

How often should I clean it?Also dont clean them too often, as the wonderful engineers at k&n say the filters rely on the fine dirt particles to increase filtering ability.
Cause building a filter that filters from day 1 is too difficult.
dunno, I guess when mice make a home there. How often should I clean it?
Depends on driving conditions. More dust dirt roads cleaning will need to be done more often. If you're only city driving less. I'd check it at each oil change and hold it to the sun if it looks bad clean it.How often should I clean it?

I clean mine every other oil change and spray the air compressor through it every oil change but I have an aFe dry filter.
Dont forget, It only works if u put the sticker onI run the K&N with a Gibson exhaust and love the little added power and the sound is great.
Damit that's why mines not working. I threw the sticker away.Dont forget, It only works if u put the sticker on

If you don't over oil it you'll be fine.I have heard of some with maf issues. After a year on mine zero issues.
One of many reasons I run a dry aFe pro s filter.Exactly. Just don’t over oil it. There have been a lot of mass air flow sensor issues with them on the new Tacomas.
