lock punched in, can ppl still break in?

may be a stupid question but idk **** abt locking systems so i'm asking to be safe.

i had my truck broken into via a punched in passenger side lock. its a $260 fix (if i want it keyed to my master key) so i'd rather just not fix it. but i'm worried that other ppl will still be able to get into my truck w the lock punched out the same way the first person did

what do y'all think?

maybe i can go the non-keyed alike route, do it myself and and deal w two keys. would be a lot cheaper. just gotta figure out how..

yo nvm. i just tried to break into my own car and it was so easy. yikes!!

took the door apart and just taped the lock cylinder back in place for now so at least breaking and entering won't look as easy............... |:
