Mpg on lifted tacoma

So I have a 2009 Tacoma with 6" lift and running 35" mud tires. Along with that I have a 2.7l 4cyl and still running stock 3:54 rearend gears. I just figured out what kind of milage I am getting and it's 17 mpg. Not bad considering it only got 20 mpg when it was stock. Just been reading alot of people who tell other people if they go to 35s there mpg will drop in half. If you keep your truck maintained and put in fuel cleaner once a month in your tank you can get that mpg with 35s. Don't believe everything you read from people who think there mechanics.

how fast do you wheel that lifted rig to get those MPGs?

what kind of fuel cleaner?

I don't think the lift has much to do with MPG but for sure heavy large wheels and tires do. It takes more energy to get them rolling which translates to more gas usage. But agree unless you have to stop and go all the time, mileage on the highway won't affect it much. It's the start from a stop that's the killer.

My v6 get 16-20 mpg
2" lift front and rear
265/75/16 duratracs LR C
STEEL lightbar
Sliders
60lb bed cover
100lbs for supercharger and associated parts as well
