Welcome, new myself also trying to learn some issues these trucks can have like if anyone knew about a tsb-sb-0092-20 drivability issues for all the 2019-2020 v6 automatic taco's that were built.....still waiting to hear more on this.Bought my first pickup last week, 2019 TRD Pro.
Wanted to know why you use this site, what are the things I might find valuable here? Thank you.
It sounded to me like you didn’t notice any drivability issues. If you’re worried about it go to the dealer and get the TSB and up date completed. The dealer may have already done it before they sold it to you. Not much else we can do for you on that issue.Welcome, new myself also trying to learn some issues these trucks can have like if anyone knew about a tsb-sb-0092-20 drivability issues for all the 2019-2020 v6 automatic taco's that were built.....still waiting to hear more on this.
I haven't noticed anything with the way this truck drives. Couldn't say if this was performed or not. I was more interested what the actual issues these trucks had. Its my very first tacoma ever owned. Never had a problem like that with my tundra. I do know all about the frame rust issues and have addressed that.It sounded to me like you didn’t notice any drivability issues. Depending on where you live if there is lots of mountains and hills the transmission was shifting all over the place. It didn’t know what gear it wanted to be in. The TSB fixed it so it held gears longer. The issue I was having after the TSB was that the truck would down shift to 3 rd and hold it going up over a mountain pass at 4800-5200 RPM’s at 65-70 mph. Sit and watch my MPH go from 16-13 in a few miles while the engine just about held red line. If you live where it’s mostly flat you’ll probably never notice it either way and I wouldn’t worry about it.I haven't noticed anything with the way this truck drives. When i first owned my tacoma the automatic transmission acted goofy with content gear hunting, but after serial hundred miles it began to run normal just like any other automatic owned. As far as those rpm. Highest my v6 tacoma has ever seen on long steep grades here has be almost 3k rpm. On most grades its under 2k. Truck has plenty of power.Depending on where you live if there is lots of mountains and hills the transmission was shifting all over the place. It didn’t know what gear it wanted to be in.
