New to Lifting

Hey everyone ,

I want to start by saying im very new to lifting trucks . Ive been reading forum after forum trying to piece together what lift is best for my purposes for my truck and im confused to say the least . I have a 2015 tacoma base 4x4 and want around 3 inches of lift for appearances only . About 95% of my driving will be done on road . I have a decent budget about 2-3k for everything needed to lift my tacoma including tires . Can anyone inform me on what ill need for my specific build please ?
 
Buy a complete kit and include upper control arms for alignment and clearance. There are lots of choices. I went with the Toytec Boss kit with SPC upper arms. 33" tires on 18" wheels. Carrier bearing drop kit. My lift is 3" and don't go more as that is pretty much max. The get alignment, add a little extra caster. Your budget is about right.
