New to the site and my Tocoma is my first toyota. I've been a jeep guy for years but have only herd good things about Toyota's so I bought an older one. I figured I'd give it a go and see what's the hype. I wanna get it a little more power and a cleaner sound. But my budget isn't huge. I can custom build all my own stuff at home, so if anyone knows of another vehicle that I could junkyard pull parts (exhaust, shock sets, intakes, ext) and customs fit it I'd greatly appreciate any help. I was gonna add a cold air intake to my 3.0 V6 but I figured start at the exhaust first and open it up a bit. I was wondering if I should build myself a custom dual set up for more power and rumble or if it's even worth the time and effort to do all that? anybody done this? or is it better to leave the single and just upgrade the pipes to bigger ones with a glass pack and a new flowmas. cat.?
