It’s axel wrap. The weak rear leaf springs allows the axel to twist from the force of the stop and once you stop it clanks back into place and you feel a bump. It seems to happen more when it’s cold to me. When it first happened I got out and almost had some words with the lady behind me. I then posted a thread about the issue and @whippersnapper02 said the same thing he said here. After lots of research and trips to the dealer I now do what @mcklovin77 does and say that was a good one and go on my day. When im at a red light . My truck feels like someone hit me in the rear. Why is that.
Bunch of newbs around hereTacoma axle wrap established 2005. Maybe earlier too.
