Remote start

I have a 2010 Tacoma four-door with remote start I have an issue with my remote starter it will open my doors and lock them but will not start the engine any advice helps

What brand is it, and when you try to start the truck, does the engine attempt to crank but it can't or does it not turn at all?

Avital is the brand it came stock and I can crank it no problem and it's the remote start that won't work

Sorry didn't specify first time... When you start it with the remote start, what happens

The light on key fob blinks but the truck has no reaction

I used my other fob and Diddnt get anything either all they will do is unlock and lock doors

Interesting, I have an automate, and about a month ago mine was acting up but nothing like that, when I started it with the remote the truck would attempt to crank but it wouldn't turn over... I took mine to the guy that installed it, my family has used the same place for years, and they had to switch the "brain" of the remote start, but it was all still under the automate warranty

I had a remote starter in 1992, never gave me an issue. U would think things would get better in 24 years? The society we live in. How can i make something that works well,cheaper and gives the consumer more issues so i can make more money in the long run. What ever happened to quality parts?
