I want black rims myself but going to wait till I need a new set of tires, didn't want to wait so I plasti dipped them. There's a lot I mixed opinions on the subject, but I find it to be a cost effective solution until I get new rims.

Paint em' or plasti dip em' either way, you can still achieve a matte finish
