Sweet. You finally ditched the 4runner and grabbed toyota buy the taco.Just got a sweet deal on a used TRDPro. Looking to get a RTT on it. I’ve seen a bunch of fab frame set ups and tents. Who has what?
Why did you get that specific one? Pros and cons?
Sweet. You finally ditched the 4runner and grabbed toyota buy the taco.
Congrats.
The small trailers with the RTT’s are great the ones @whippersnapper02 is talking about. If you can pull one of those. If not replace the suspension on all four and the leaf packs maybe add air bags.

Front Runner roof rack , RTT, awning was back ordered so the ARB Awning fit in the Front Runner brackets as if they were made in the same factory. Probably are.
Personal preference. I carry stuff in the bed daily that I needed a Cap. Some put them on-top of the cap . I think bolting to the cab of the truck is the most secure.
I didn’t think about putting the tent on top of the cab. Is there any crazy pro cons between doing that on a roof rack vs. installing on a bed rack?
Obviously a roof rack is cheaper. I don’t want to put a cab on the back
Thoughts?
Your gas mileage would take a big hit with the RTT on the cab. I had a bed rack built that put the tent as high as it would go with out any major drag.
