Shop vac suggestions

Just threw away my craftsman 8gal shop vac. Ive had it for about 13yrs.
The top of it would come off when i carried it (thats where the handle is).

It was only 7.6 amps, but it worked great for my needs.

Im looking for something around the same size, same or more amps, MUST BE ON CASTERS, have included attachments including crevice attachment, a decent way to store them onboard, and 2.5" hose.

Hose length of 8ft or more?

10ft or more power cord would be nice, but i can always buy a dedicated thick extension.

Wet/dry capable.

Doesnt need to have a blower port (i have 2 leaf blowers)
Should come with all filter media (some dont).

Wanna spend between $100 to 150.... $150 max is pretty firm.

Im only gunna use it for bbq duty (ash), and the occasional garage mess (very occasional).

It needs to have a secure latch so the damn thing doesnt fall apart when lifted

Yeah the smaller hoses wouldnt pull up even smaller chunks of charcoal. I use lump charcoal and even after letting it burn itself out, sometimes theres chunks about the size of a silver dollar and they get stuck.

Keep in mind that peak power means just that. It peaks at startup but a single phase 120 volt motor is limited to about 1.5 to 2 hp continuous.

Man, you can tell you don’t live somewhere like West Virginia. 15 miles is local here. Heck, 50 miles or more isn’t a stretch to drive for something. Lol

That and we used to have 2 sears.... 1 was 5 miles out, another was 20.... now they are both gone.

Yups. About 2 horses max on all electric motors in the house off of a standard outlet.

I tried to sweep the bbq out with a brush and dustpan, but **** kicked up everywhere.
