Should I buy a new or used Toyota Tacoma.

I've learned my lesson years ago buying used...unless haven't the funds, or you personally know the party that owned the vehicle before and how they took care of it, your taking a big risk buying someone else's problems. That said most 2019 and newer tacoma's imo, work pretty good. Toyota has corrected many of the earlier complaints these trucks had. I can say my 2020 sr5 v6 works very well.

When I was looking there was not much price difference between a used or new Tacoma. I went new for that reason making my truck the first new vehicle I have ever purchased. I was 35yo at that point in time.

Back in january of 2020 here, there were plenty of new double cabs, and some long bed double cabs, but no new v6 sr5 access cabs in the color and options/tech package i wanted east of the mississippi. Used tacoma's were non-existent. 3 months later these same dealer lots were nearly empty, and you could no longer buy one under msrp.

I was given the choice ,order new (in other words what I wanted for color and trim) or buy used.......used got the nod because I did know where/what the truck went thru....price was irrelevant as stated earlier......

That's OK, I'm left handed so most of what I see is sideways. LOL!
Welcome to the club...i'm left handed to. When i started school back in the late 1950's my teachers thought i was retarded, or something writing everything left handed. They use try tying my left hand behind my back, and making me use my right hand. Well that never worked out, and they wanted me to repeat the 2nd grade...never forgot them for attempting that.

I used to get a steel-edge ruler across the knuckles back in the 60s. The teacher would put the pencil in my right hand and I would write everything backwards.

said lefties were the devils children is what my mother in law said so she had to learn right handed . I've been her soN in law for 34 years I still can't read her writing lol! :)
