Speedometer Drops when engaging Directional Signal Light

I have a 1994 Toyota Hilux. I just recently noticed that when i am driving and i engage the directional signal light (either left or right) the speedometer will drop to zero and jump back up to what ever speed i was initially driving at. Looking to solve this mystery, any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Almost sounds like you lost a ground connection somewhere, or a bad plug/wire connection when these are electronic controlled speedo's..

The speedometer is not electronic, the speedometer is old school dial
As far as I know they use an electrical speed sensor...no cable from the trans, that tells the speedo how fast your going...at least my 93 toyota sr5 4wd was that way. Speedo may have an old school dial indicator, but it works electronically that makes the dial indicator move. I assume the 94 is very similar. I never experienced your issue. Your either going to have to dig in, or let someone with more experience check it out. I don't think its going to be a simple spoon fed fix.
