Starting problem.

There is a dirt trail I drive to go to one of my climbing spots, it's nothing intense, more like a fire road. However, when I park and come back to my truck after a day of rockclimbing, I go to start my truck and it never starts the first time, then when I go start it the second time it starts but the rpms are low for a little and then they go to normal. It always happens when I go up here. Does anyone have any idea why it does this only here?

It could be the elevation. If the air is thinner then it would be a little harder to start, yes. But, check the air temp sensor and the mass air flow sensor for proper operation.
